Ethan Embry

Ethan Philan Randall (born June 13, 1978), known by his stage name Ethan Embry, is an American film and television actor. He is known for his role as Mark in Empire Records, Preston in Can’t Hardly Wait, The Bass Player in That Thing You Do!, and as Bobby Ray in Sweet Home Alabama.

Embry was born in Huntington Beach, California, the son of Karen, a screenwriter/talent manager, and H. Charles Randall, a dental technician. He has an elder brother, Aaron, a music producer and musician, and a younger sister, Kessia, a photographer.
