Stranded, A Bald Eagle Is Weighed Down By A Large Ball Of Ice

INCAPABLE TO FLY AND ALSO LOOK AFTER ITSELF A HAIRLESS EAGLE IS BORN DOWN BY A HEFTY SPHERE OF ICE AFFIXED TO ITS TAIL.
Stranded on the coasts of Lake Michigan the bad bird was found by a team of birdwatchers that notified a rescue group to the scene.

A volunteer team from Wings of Wonder attempted to catch the bird near the shore by actually falling to the icy lake amongst the blocks of ice. Shielded upper body waders aided keep the temperature at a manageable degree.

Chris Johnson, onshore, recorded the video, while Ken Scott attempted to preserve his ground as his breast waders began to leakage!

“Chris was right where he needed to be and had the clear-headedness to intercept the individual that seemingly was trying to find an aid at the same time we were supplying one,” reported Scott on his YouTube channel, Ken Scott Photography.

Capturing the bird in a blanket, they transferred him to the rescue facility in Leelanau Region for a collection of “forced de-frostation” experiments. Warm tap water was finally able to get rid of the “ice beast”, and also numerous days later on, on February 10, the eagle, unhurt was ready to be released into the wild once again.
