He Laid In Agony Among Trash, Wiggling His Tail So Workers Would Hear Him

Donut was lying on the main dumping floor of a trash incinerator facility after a long fall out of a dumpster. His body was covered in cuts & puncture wounds, and his front legs were severely injured.

A dog was found by the city’s trash incinerator facility and the Baltimore City Animal Control was quickly informed.

The poor dog was seen on the most dumping floor after an extended fall out of a 30-foot roll-off dumpster. At first the front-end loader operator didn’t see him but the dog luckily moved so the operator immediately stopped the machine and jumped into the debris to see what was going on. He took the scared puppy out of the trash and put him on a towel. He then called gave him the name Donut.

Donut has some severe injuries on his front legs, cuts and wounds that they won’t be easy to heal fast. Animal Control took Donut to BARCS Animal Shelter, where he was seen by a team of vets. Regardless of what lovely Donut had gone through and the pain he felt, he tried to kiss the vets who took care of him.

Till now he is unable to steer on his own and should require surgery for one or both of his legs but thankfully he is at a patterning Franky Fund clinic ER where is getting the right treatment for his injuries.

BARCS wrote on their Facebook page: “We don’t know what events led up to Donut being found on the incinerator plant floor yesterday,” “Could someone have purposely have thrown him away in those dumpsters? Or did he wander or fall in there on his own? regardless of the circumstance, sweet Donut is now safe—and very lucky to be alive.”
