Piper the Husky was very worried when Mom went missing from home out of nowhere. Obviously, the naive pooch had no idea that Mom was at the hospital giving birth to her daughter, Lily. In this precious video, we see Piper’s gratifying first encounter with her human sibling and it’s heartwarming to the core!
The sweet video begins with Dad driving Piper home where Mom is already waiting with baby Lily. Piper seems super excited throughout the car ride as she anticipates her reunion with Mom after 3 long days. But the moment she arrives home, she intuitively senses the distinct shift in aura due to Lily’s presence!
Dad holds Piper’s leash as she animatedly runs through the rooms while trailing Mom’s scent. Sure enough, she tracks down Mom sitting on the couch with a wee little creature nestled in her arms. Piper practically goes insane with happiness as she sniffs the baby all over and acknowledges her as a new member of the pack!
The parents are thrilled to see that Lily’s special doggie welcome is filled with jubilant tail wags. Piper even throws in a cheerful dance to celebrate baby Lily’s arrival! Despite her joy, she remains wary of the baby’s fragility and only greets her with soft nuzzles and gentle toe kisses. Piper is going to be such a great big sister!
