Stacey Farber

Stacey Farber (born August 25, 1987[1]) is a Canadian actress. She is known for playing Ellie Nash in seasons 2 through 8 of the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. From 2010 to 2011, she starred in the CBC series 18 to Life with fellow Canadian Michael Seater of Life with Derek.[2][3] From 2014 to 2017, Farber played Sydney Katz on the Canadian medical drama Saving Hope.
Farber was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in a Jewish family.[4][5][6]

She graduated in 2005 from the all-girls private school Branksome Hall. Farber completed her first year of university at York University in Toronto in 2007,[7] then transferred to The New School’s Eugene Lang College in New York City, graduating in 2009.
