The fire-breasted flowerpecker, is a species of bird in the Dicaeidae family. One of the smallest members of the flowerpecker family is a small bird with a dark bill. The male has glossy blue-black upper parts, while his belly is a yellowish color with a short black stripe running down from his chest. His breast is covered by a bright red patch, almost fiery red in color.
