Stray Called This Garbage Dump ‘Home’ Before Finally Submitting To A New Life

Alex was a stray who spent his life at the Groendal dump with no one and nothing. The poor dog was sick and covered in scabs, and he was scared of all humans. People often wondered if he would ever submit to them for a better life. But thankfully, Sidewalk Specials was able to intervene and get the good boy to defer to their care.

His second chance at life was now beginning! First, he would need to be treated for tick bite, anemia, sarcoptic mange, and eye injuries. But before too long, the sweet pup would be well on his way to recovery!

Today, Alex is with his loving forever family! The dog has a little human sibling and a furry friend named Bodie, and he looks nothing like the pup who once lived amongst trash. It’s quite the remarkable transformation, so be sure to see it in its full glory in the video below! 🙂
