Lonely Homeless Dog Passes Away, His Friend Comes To Say An Emotional Goodbye

The rescuers at “Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) Singapore” were informed about a sick homeless dog lying lifelessly in his own waste and howling in pain for the past 3 days. But what started out as a routine rescue soon turned into an enlightening life lesson for the entire community.
The homeless dog, named Ol Boy, never knew a life outside of the brutal streets. He used to survive on air-conditioner water and leftovers, but he lost his ability to fend for himself as he grew old. Ol Boy smelled like a “dead rat” by the time the SOSD members found him. They rushed him to the vet, fervently praying that he still had some life left in him.
Sadly, it was too late for Ol Boy to get his second chance. Ticks had dangerously sucked out and infected the elderly dog’s blood, while some scans also detected the possibility of cancer. Ol Boy was dying, and there was absolutely no way to save him.
The rescuers didn’t feel right about euthanizing Ol Boy right away, so they reached out to an animal communicator who was quite popular among the locals. The animal communicator confirmed what the rescuers already knew – Ol Boy’s dying wish was to feel loved and cherished.
One of the rescuers brought Ol Boy home and introduced him to his dogs. Despite his pain, the sick dog had a faint smile as he experienced companionship for the first time in his life. Just after his only wish was fulfilled, Ol Boy passed away peacefully that night.
Later, the animal communicator relayed the rescuers that Ol Boy wanted his ashes to be scattered over his favorite spot beside the beach. The rescuers not only honored this emotional request but also immortalized the dog’s memory through this heart-tugging video.
This video outlines the bitter truth that it might be impossible to find homes for every stray dog in the world at the moment. As humans, we must look out for the homeless creatures around us and help them live out their lives with dignity.
