Stephen Foster works as a part-time upkeep guy at a gasoline station in Dade City, Florida. Given that the current fatality of his spouse of 35 years, Stephen has come to rely on the love and friendship of his little dog, Ollie. The pooch even accompanies him to work, gladly viewing her daddy from the end of a tether.

A couple of weeks ago, Ollie was struck by a vehicle driving via the filling station parking lot as well as was left with a damaged leg. The veterinarian informed Stephen assisted suicide was his only alternative, but he as well as Ollie were about to meet a guardian angel. Really, a whole bunch of them!

An animal control policeman with Pasco County Animal Services prompted Stephen not to quit hope. The following day, the officer returned with veterinarian Christine Glenn, who transferred Ollie to the PCAS shelter for further care.

“Ollie is a special lady. He is this gentleman’s whole world. As well as without her he doesn’t rest well at night. This is his friend since his spouse died,” Dr. Glenn informed ABC Action News.

An animal control officer with Pasco County Animal Provider urged Stephen not to surrender hope. The following day, the officer returned with vet Christine Glenn, that moved Ollie to the PCAS shelter for additional care.

“Ollie is an unique lady. He is this gent’s universe. As well as without her he does not rest well in the evening. This is his friend given that his partner died,” Dr. Glenn told ABC Action News.

Finally, the day the pair had been waiting on rolled about. On Thursday, July 29, Ollie was launched from the center!

She is not completely recovered yet, but she is strong sufficient to spend the rest of her recovery at home with Stephen– with numerous follow-ups at PCAS along the way. When she obtains clinical clearance, Ollie’s chums at the shelter will provide her with a pet crate so she can safely accompany Stephen to work once more.

“Ollie implies every little thing to me. Like I said, she’s my youngster,” Stephen confided to ABC.

In addition to Dr. Glenn and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, PCAS credit scores a give from Maddie’s Fund as well as a partnership with Human Pet Support Services with their capacity to save Ollie’s life.

Currently Stephen can rest comfortably once more with his beloved Ollie back by his side!
