Boxer Responds To Newborn’s First Cries By Weeping As Well

When a couple is prepared to welcome a new baby into the world, one of their main concerns is how their animals will react to the new arrival. Many expectant parents consider rehoming their pets because they are scared they will harm their unborn kid.

This isn’t always the case, thankfully! Bella, a Boxer dog, is demonstrating that dogs may make good baby companions on occasion. Bella couldn’t help but cry with baby Melina as she started sobbing.

When tiny Melina returned home from the hospital, her parents were concerned about how their dog, Bella, would react to the newcomer. Melina’s parents decided to keep her in her crib and see how things went.

It wasn’t long before Melina’s parents realized Bella would be her biggest supporter and best friend! The fruits of their new friendship may be seen in Melina’s parents’ home camera footage.

Melina is resting in her bed in the video, and Bella is stationed under her cot, right where she needs to be to defend her! When one of the parents removes the warm, cozy blanket from baby Melina, she is startled awake. Melina starts crying as soon as she wakes up. This is where things start to get cute!

Bella comes out from beneath the crib, standing in the center of the floor, and starts crying along with the baby. It’s almost as if she wants to make sure Melina receives the attention she deserves and that her parents notice!

Bella’s voice conveys her concern for the new baby and her want for someone to look after her. Her doggy screams also provide some consolation to the infant that she is not alone.

Bella has clearly formed a close bond with the baby, rather than being jealous or afraid of it. The dog refuses to leave the crib’s side and is continuously alert, doing whatever it takes to keep the precious newborn safe.

Melina’s mother reports that her daughter and Bella are still great friends, despite the fact that the video is several years old. Bella continued to follow Melina around as she grew older, sleeping in the little girl’s room and informing her parents when something was awry. Melina repaid Bella with an abundance of baby goodies!
