Puppy Goes Blind After Being Thrown From A Moving Car

Although life should be the greatest gift there is in this world, there are still many people who do not value it and repeatedly violate the integrity of the most innocent. On this occasion, a newborn puppy was the victim of a terribly cruel act and struggles to recover after being thrown from a moving car.

Despite the brutality they committed against the puppy, the arrival of a good woman helped him to progress and the dog has shown great progress.

The unprecedented event took place in the town of Menfi, located in the province of Sicily in southern Italy. From there, the activist and founder of the Oasis Ohana organization, Chiara Calasanzio, did the impossible for the furry one to recover.

The puppy they named Hello came into Chiara’s arms after a complaint. A neighbor reported the abandonment of a puppy in a moving car lot.

The driver did not stop to drop off the furry one, but threw him in a cruel act.

The woman’s indignation upon receiving the complaint was expressed through a post on her Facebook account.

“People are crazy: a puppy was thrown from a moving car in Menfi. They are disgusting! It wasn’t enough that they threw it out of the car, they didn’t even deign to stop, but they threw it out like trash! She is not an object, but a life, the most precious life that they abandoned. Hello, she screamed in pain”, said Chiara.

Unfortunately, the hairy girl suffered a traumatic brain injury from the impact and this led to the temporary loss of her vision. Those first few days after the rescue were decisive for this dog’s future, as not only her vision was at stake, but also her very life.

Fortunately, Hello proved to be a warrior.

After weeks of intensive care, the puppy began to improve and even managed to regain a good appetite.

“Our little girl eats and judging by the way she has gained weight, the onset of teething and mobility, we think she may be about three weeks old as opposed to what she looked like when we got her back: malnourished and with her eyes closed (which to this point we think from the tremendous impact with the asphalt)”, said Chiara.

In light of the strides the animal has made, precious Hello is now up for adoption. The announcement was made by the foundation via its Facebook account.

“Whoever adopts will bring home joy, peace, the meaning of life. You will have a warrior by your side who will remind you every day that it is forbidden to cry about yourself, that you must fight until victory!”
