Hero Dog Saves Four Patients From Inferno At Hospice After Running Into Building To Raise Alarm
The hero dog named Matilda, who was pregnant at the time, is now recovering from severe burns after she passed out due to carbon monoxide fumes from the fire, writes kingdomstv.
Fortunately, all four of the residents from the hospice were pulled to safety from the blaze after the fire service was summoned.
But Matilda, who’s a mongrel, was only saved after by volunteers Alexander Tsinkevich and Elena Kalinina, only after she’d suffered grievous injuries.

Matilda, who is being hailed a true hero, unfortunately, suffered some severe burns after she saved four patients.
She ran into an inferno at a Russian hospice to raise the alarm and save lives.
Animal campaigners in St Petersburg are now fighting so save her life after the extreme burns.
All four of the residents in the private hospice were pulled to safety from the blaze by firefighters but Matilda wasn’t rescued until afterwards
Matilda, who was pregnant at the time ‘cried and trembled in pain, but heroically endured everything’, a report said.
‘Matilda’s face, neck and abdomen were severely burned’
Said the shelter in a statement.
Matilda’s whole body was severely burned, but luckily her puppies are alive and developing well.
Most of her fur and nose were unfortunately burnt off.

“Now it is impossible to understand the number of babies she is carrying, since she is a big dog.”
Matilda who is also known as Motya – will now not be able to feed her puppies as her nipples are too badly burned.
