Kittens Who Cuddled Together Continue To Nap In The Same Place As Adults

Cats are creatures of habit. They like to wake us up around the same time each morning. They insist on their meals always being served at the same times every day. They even always like to keep their naps on a consistent schedule, writes blog.theanimalrescuesite.

This precision applies to their napping spots as well. Once they pick a spot in the house that they like they will often continue to frequent it and claim it as their own.

For two feline siblings, Lili and Renley, this nap station happened to be their beloved cat scratching post. The top of it had a little round circle that was perfect for them to curl up together and sleep.

Of course, these two cats staked out this spot when they were only tiny little kittens, but once they grew into adulthood they quickly outgrew the perch in size.

However, they did not outgrow it in terms of it being their favorite spot. In fact, even though they were technically too big for it, they still insisted on squeezing themselves into it, making sure that they were able to continue taking naps together.

The pair might be fully grown, but their owner has shared with Bored Panda that the two have a continued strong bond.

As their owner explained, “Renley is usually the boss, so when he wants to cuddle – they cuddle. When he was little he used to meow and look for Lili if she wasn’t in the same room.”
