In recent years the botanical classification of a lot of Orchid genera have been changed. In Genera Orchidacearum (AM Pridgeon, PJ Cribb, FN Rasmussen, MW Chase) the genera Cochlioda and Odontoglossum have mostly been merged to Oncidium.
