The brave turtle scared two lions who came to the reservoir to drink water
Lions are large predators, but it turns out that there are animals that are not afraid of them and can scare them.
Recently, a video became popular on the Internet, in which a small turtle drove two lions out of their territory.
Reggie Barreto, a tour guide at Malamala Private Game Reserve (South Africa), could see a couple of lions being spooked by a small turtle.
Two adult lions came to drink water, but the animals didn’t expect to meet such a brave and fearless turtle. The turtle began to persistently tease the two predators. The small animal did not like this visit and did not give up.
Reggie believes that the lions themselves were not interested in the turtle. The fact is that the family of predators just ate a zebra. They had a little blood on their faces.
The smell of blood attracted a small but very annoying turtle to the lion and lioness.
