Seeing a koala in your backyard is a remarkable thing, so you’d certainly relish the opportunity if one of these cuddly animals paid you a visit. When a sweet koala stopped by their pool for a drink and some pats, a family in South Australia did just that.

When she approached the animal from the other side of the tank, the animal stared at her and stayed calm. She cupped her hands together as she got close enough to the koala so it could drink.

The koala drank the water from the lady’s hands, and when it was complete, the woman exited the tub, wrapped a towel around her waist, and walked over to the koala, where she sat down beside it. She then leaned in close and gently brushed its nose with her own. She then extended her hand to allow the koala to sniff it.She then petted the koala’s head, its cheek, and again brushed noses with it.
