Instead, this is left for the mother to do single-handedly, because of this the bond between orangutan mother and child is believed to be the strongest in all of nature.

In fact, orangutan mothers spend more time with their children than any other known mammal, they are very dedicated mothers.

Unfortunately, 2-year-old orangutan Cerah was left all alone after her mum died unexpectedly.

What nobody could’ve predicted was that her father, Berani, stepped up and undertook the unusual job of raising his daughter, says kingsdom.tv

“Cerah couldn’t have asked for a better dad. Berani is so attentive and protective of her, seeing all her needs.”

You can see in all of these heartwarming images the love between the father and daughter. Love really does create miracles and these two are living proof of it!

When the question was posed to see if it was possible for a father orangutan to replace the mother, it turns out it definitely is not.

Even though Berani has shown strong maternal instincts, he will never be able to emotionally replace the mother.
