Josh O’Connor

Josh O’Connor (born in 1989/1990) [1] is a British actor. He portrayed young Prince Charles in the Netflix drama The Crown (2019–2020), for which he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, and received nominations for two British Academy Television Awards.

O’Connor also played the roles of Johnny Saxby in Francis Lee’s God’s Own Country (2017), for which he won a British Independent Film Award for Best Actor, Lawrence Durrell in the ITV series The Durrells (2016–2019), and Marius Pontmercy in BBC One’s miniseries of Victor Hugo’s novel Les Misérables (2019).
