Iravati Harshe

Iravati Harshe is an Indian television and film actor and dubbing artist. Harshe has worked in many television serials. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.
Irawati Harshe Mayadev is an award winning actress that has worked in a number of films and television shows since 1993. She co-founded the Film Heritage Foundation and was inspired to create and design workshops for children called `Do You Speak Cinema?` and `Watch, Learn, Grow!` to introduce them to the magic that is cinema! A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, she is passionate about cinema and has always had a keen interest in it. She believes that she is a student of this ever evolving dynamic art form.
Irawati started her acting career on the small screen and rose to fame with her role in the popular TV series Shanti (1994), which was aired on Doordarshan. Some of her other popular TV appearances include Dill Mill Gayye, Kabhie Kabhie, Sanjivani, and Tanha. After a successful stint in the TV industry, Iravati forayed in the film industry in the early 2000s and made her debut on the silver screen with Hey Ram (2000). Her other popular film credits include Shararat (2002), Raat Gayi Baat Gayi? (2009), Hate Story (2012), and Kaasav (2016). The film, directed by the acclaimed director duo, Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukthankar was showcased at the Mumbai Film Festival in 2016 and released in the theaters in 2017. Her 2018 release includes Aapla Manus. Her 2019 releases include Bhaai – Vyakti Ki Valli and the continuation Bhaai – Vyakti Kee Valli Part 2 directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
