Homeless dogs often become accustomed to people harming or ignoring them, so when a group of rescuers showed up to help an abandoned Boxer dog, she wouldn’t budge. The poor dog was found all alone on a tattered sleeping bag in a homeless camp. She was laying in the field soaking wet and covered with snow on parts of her cold body. Still, she sat and ignored her saviors.

The hungry Boxer was found in Redlands, California, and she just kept staring at the rescuers. Apparently, the poor girl had been abandoned and was waiting for her owner to return. Sadly, the owner left her there and never returned to the spot. As a result, the dog had no idea where he or she went, so she simply lay down on the sleeping bag to wait.
Volunteers from the Dream Fetchers Organization came to her rescue and convinced the dog to go with them. One of the volunteers took to Facebook and wrote, “Tonight, she’s laying on a warm blanket. No more cold lonely nights. She’s definitely had litters, and god help her babies I pray they are safe, too.”
She isn’t microchipped, and it is not known if anyone is looking for her. In the meantime, learn more and how you can help this precious girl by visiting the Dream Fetchers Facebook page.
