Blossom was just a puppy when she was found discarded in an urban neighborhood after months of torture and neglect. Her tail was swollen from a sharp wire wrapped around it, and her owner was probably using it as a form of restraint. To add to her woes, her body was infested with thousands of ticks that were slowly sucking the life out of her.
