Owner Gives Their Dog To A Person Who Can’t Afford Her, And She’s Neglected

The owner of a Collie named Suzie decided to give her away for whatever reason, and so they gave her to their domestic worker in a terribly irresponsible move.

This domestic worker ended up not being able to afford to care for the dog, and she was left neglected. But at least when they found out Sidewalk Specials was in town, they called them to give her up.

The seven-year-old dog came to them dehydrated and so skinny. Her one eye was crusted shut and needed to be removed, and she also suffered from Ehrlichia.

They cleaned up and bathed the malnourished girl and set her on a treatment plan to get her ready for her eye surgery when healthy and strong enough.

To give your dog away like an object to such an unknown future is a very cruel thing to do. But it’s a happy ending for Suzie! All vet bills are being covered by Sidewalk Specials, and then she’ll be put up for adoption. 🙂
