Tiny Owl Needs Protection, Becomes Best Friends With Giant German Shepherd To Look After Him
The animal world is full of unlikely friendships, but this one takes things to a whole new level. Ingo the German Shepherd and Poldi the little owl both live with their human mom called Tanja Brandt in Germany. And believe it or not, they are very best friends!
One of their favorite things is cozying up to each other and pose together for adorable photoshoots. Especially since Tanja is a professional wildlife photographer. Therefore, Ingo and Poldi have a lot of opportunities to put their unlikely friendship on display. A bond that’s special for both of them. Needless to mention this lovely connection keeps them both happy and happy, thinking there’s always one for each other there to offer all the comfort in the world.
The owl is only one-year-old, so Ingo quickly assumed the role of her protector. As a result, the dog makes sure he is always nearby Poldi just in case she gets scared or she needs protection. In turn, Poldi showers the dog with affection and love.
Ingo comes from a family of police dogs, so it’s in his nature to assume the protector role. And with Poldi being the most vulnerable of her family because she hatched earlier than all of her siblings, there isn’t a better duo.
