4-year-old comes home with an unexpected new friend – a baby deer
Deers are such sweet and gentle creatures, they are the easiest wildlife to find in your backyard.
One mom was surprised after her son brought home a new friend, the sweet encounter now is going viral.
Stephanie Brown was staying in a rental home in Massanutten, Virginia along with Dominic, her 4-year-old son.
The family was getting ready to head home, Dominic was playing outside on the yard while Stephanie was unpacking things from the fridge.
The mom heard Dominic wiping his boots on the mat getting ready to get inside and soon she realized he wasn’t alone, instead he brought along an unexpected guest.
The little boy brought inside a deer, and it was clear they had become fast friends.
The little boy that was wearing the Rudolph pyjamas looked at ease while holding the sweet animal meanwhile the deer seemed ready to follow the boy inside.
“He was… ready to bring the deer into our house,” Stephanie told WRIC. “Like it wasn’t anything strange for him.”
Mom, on the other hand, had a very different reaction.
“I was completely shocked!” Stephanie told WWBT. “I froze for a second because I literally didn’t know what to do!”
But as the family was ready to leave they disagreed with the 4 year old that a deer was a good idea as a pet, so the mom asked him to let the animal go and be with his own family.
“I asked Dominic to walk his new friend back to the woods so his mommy could find him,” she said.
But first she took a sweet picture that lit up the internet, gaining 32,000 shares on Facebook in just a few days.
What a sweet duo kids and animals are.
