Gorilla Born With A Lack Of Pigmentation On Her Fingers Looks Like A Human Hand
Meet Anaka, a special young gorilla who has a unique patch of pigment on her hand, writes kingdomstv.
In close-up pictures, it almost looks human-like, which makes sense considering we are closely related to gorillas, and they also have opposable thumbs.
Her skin isn’t the only unique thing about her, apparently she has a very unique personality too.
“[She’s] often barking at her mom and others to get a prime spot for food and juice [and] She is often seen riding piggyback on her brother and sisters.”
A lot of people thought Anaka suffered from vitiligo which is a long term skin condition.
Well, not all people: ‘Well, her skin pigment has always been like that and hasn’t changed over the years, so we think it’s just a cool birthmark.’
