Man Saves Mouse And Lizard From Drowning And Makes Two New Friends

Everyone should be grateful, even the animals. And that’s the case in the story of Levi DeWitt, a man who was volunteering in Bolivia and made two new friends. They are a mouse and a lizard that were about to drown in a pool, writes top13.
When Levi saw these defenseless animals in a pool about to drown, he grabbed a branch and placed it in the water so that they could escape. They saw the branch and quickly jumped out. And so they were saved from drowning.
DeWitt thought the adventure was over and that the animals would run away immediately after they recovered from the shock. But these friends were not afraid of Levi and they approached him.
“I left them alone for a minute to see if they would run away but they didn’t. Then I went over and tried to pet them. Then they jumped into my hand and ran under my arms and stayed there for a while.” Said Levi.
You can see the pictures below.
That was their way of thanking Levi for his action.
The three spent some time together until eventually the lizard and the mouse left and went on with their lives.
