She began mothering Rosie, showering her with love, affection and lots of cuddles.

“She almost did not make it through the first night,” writes Lilo’s owners on her Instagram.

“Even with round the clock care. Our cute kitten was lethargic and limp. We decided to go out on a limb and let her cuddle extensively with our husky dog Lilo.”

“By some miracle, she started suckling on Lilo, and Lilo went full ‘mom mode’, and because of that, this story has a happy ending.”

Lilo was dedicated to taking care of Rosie and stayed by her side.

Lilo and Rosie began forming a very close bond, and as Rosie grew stronger, their friendship only strengthened.

As this happened, Lilo thought it was only apt to become Rosie’s adopted mother and nurture her. Lilo certainly saved Rosie’s life.
