Dog Tortured by Puppy Collar Neglected Then Nursed Back to Health

Imagine wearing something that’s so tight around your neck, you can barely breathe? And that it’s cutting your skin apart bit by bit? How inhumane can you get? How much should an animal have to suffer because their owner is just too cruel to help them?

That’s what happened to a sweet, innocent dog! He endured this horrific cruelty when his owners put a collar on that was fit for a puppy and never took it off. It ultimately caused an open, painful wound, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

He was left alone, neglected and suffering– but thankfully neighbors finally took notice. Rescuers stepped in after seeing the bleeding from his neck and his obvious neglect.

But once the rescuers went to work, he had hope again. He ended up needing care for four weeks, and then surgery.

After all he endured, his wound did heal… And he rebounded emotionally, too, able to play with other dogs and miraculously put his pain in the past. And keep it there!
