Stray Dog Who Was Afraid Of Everyone Traded In The Trash For Blankets

In De Doorns, a stray had evaded rescue for the better part of a year while trying to fend for himself in the township. But with each passing day, he was getting weaker and sicker and his fur fell off as his skin turned to stone. He was afraid of everyone, but with the help of a plastic bottle, he’d end up in the hands of Sidewalk Specials!
It was just now that his life was truly beginning, and he seemed to come to terms with that. Within minutes, Crumb started wagging that tail demonstrating that he understood they were here to help him! They headed back to the hospital for an examination and care, writes ilovemydogs.
And Crumb’s fosters would meet him right there at the vet. They’d have to return once per week for treatment while continuing to work with him at home, but it was necessary maintenance. As much as they wanted to keep the boy in the end, his foster mom had to go back to New York.
But that’s where Linda came into the picture! She’d always wanted a dog like him and saw something in Crumb, and she had to have him.
Crumby would have to learn how to be a pet along with the other dog in the house, but it would all work out in the end. He just needed some blankets and cuddles to make him feel at home! From life in the garbage to this, you’ll want to see him now. 🙂
