Hope For Paws received a call about a gentle giant wandering the streets and were surprised to find a Newfoundland. He was very skinny for a dog his size and was exhausted from living on the streets.

He also had “many embedded foxtails in his body, and we had to remove them one by one.”
They named the sweet dog Everest and shortly after his rescue they received a letter that would change his life. A family in Oregon wanted to adopt him!
They flew with Everest from Los Angeles to Oregon to bring him to his forever family where he will be trained to be a service dog just like his new brother Clyde.
And from the looks of things, Everest is settling quickly in to his new home! A truly happy ending for such a beautiful dog!
